Algunes cançons necessiten una anàlisi profunda per descobrir-ne els significats ocults, però “Hot Legs” ho deixa clar des del títol. Rod Stewart la descriu com una de les seves “cançons brutes, descarades i de diversió,” on explica la història d’una jove insistent que el deixa exhaust amb les seves visites romàntiques constants.
