Vols moure l’esquelet? Amb el nou senzill de Duran Duran “Black Moonlight” serà inevitable. Al ritme de "Notorious" i "Le freak", la nova col·laboració amb el seu vell amic Nile Rodgers, és el segon avançament del seu àlbum de temàtica Halloween "Danse Macabre". També al single  hi ha un altre vell amic, l'antic membre de la banda Andy Taylor.

Parlant de “Black Moonlight”, Nick Rhodes ha comemtat: "Nile Rogers és una força de la natura. Quan entrem a l’estudi, comencem a tocar i es produeix la màgia”. Simon Le Bon coincideix, dient que la cançó és una "col·laboració clàssica de Duran Duran-Nile Rodgers" i afegeix "Quan Nile va començar a tocar la guitarra a l'estudi, va inspirar a tothom amb el seu riff, i la cançó es va escriure per si mateixa".

Impulsada per una línia de baix instantàniament enganxosa i un riff de guitarra infecciós, mentre que els sintetitzadors de Nick Rhodes sonen com si provinguessin d'una pel·lícula de terror dels anys seixanta, "Black Moonlight" és una de les tres cançons noves de l'àlbum que es publicarà el 27 d'octubre.

Do you want to move your skeleton? With Duran Duran's new single “Black Moonlight” it will be inevitable. To the rhythm of “Notorious” and “Le freak”, the new collaboration with his old friend Nile Rodgers, is the second preview of his Halloween-themed album “Danse Macabre”. Also on the single is another old friend, former band member Andy Taylor.

Speaking about ‘Black Moonlight’, Nick Rhodes said: “Nile Rogers is a force of nature. When we get into a room, we start playing, and magic happens“. Simon Le Bon concurs, saying the song is a “classic Duran Duran-Nile Rodgers collaboration” adding “When Nile started playing his guitar in the studio, he really inspired everyone with his riff, and the song just kind of wrote itself.” 

Fuelled by an instantly catchy bass line and infectious guitar hook, while Nick Rhodes’ synths sound as if cut straight from a sixties B-movie horror, “Black Moonlight” is one of three brand new songs on the album to be released on October 27th.
