Set in a dystopian future, the video opens at the "Burger Klone", a fast-food establishment where patrons appear to be mindlessly content. Cyndi Lauper's character breaks free from the monotony when she encounters a rebellious bad boy with a motorcycle. As the video progresses, Lauper embarks on a journey through an animated landscape, symbolizing her defiance against societal norms and expectations. The gas station marked "self service" serves as a playful nod to the song's theme of self-pleasure and liberation. At the end of the video, Lauper's character appears to have gone blind, hinting at the idea of ​​punishment due to self-discovery.
