"Woman" és una cançó escrita com un oda a la seva dona, Yoko Ono, inclosa al seu àlbum de 1980 "Double Fantasy". It was the first instance since 1963, when The Beatles accomplished the feat with "She Loves You" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand", that an artist replaced their own song at the #1 position on the UK charts. In the United States, the single reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100, facing competition from REO Speedwagon's "Keep On Loving You" and Blondie's "Rapture".
