"Sweet Caroline" és una cançó de Neil Diamond, llançada com a senzill al maig de 1969 amb el títol complet "Sweet Caroline (Good Times Never Seemed So Good)". He expressed this sentiment in an interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2013, stating, "I think there's a little bit of God in that song. I always have felt that." 

"Sweet Caroline" has been subject to speculation regarding its inspiration, with some believing it was about Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President John F. Kennedy. Diamond initially denied this connection, stating that while Caroline Kennedy gave him the idea for the name, she wasn't the inspiration behind the song. In 2007, Diamond performed the song at Caroline Kennedy's 50th birthday party via satellite and revealed that the song was indeed about her. He explained that as a struggling songwriter in the '60s, he saw a charming photo of Caroline Kennedy in a magazine, which inspired him to write the song. Caroline Kennedy was 11 years old when the song was released.

"Sweet Caroline" experienced a resurgence on the UK singles chart in July 2021, propelled by England fans adopting it as an anthem during the Euro 2021 soccer games. The song gained popularity as fans continued to sing it throughout England's journey to the final match, ultimately reaching a peak position of #20 on the chart. Since then it has become a recurring anthem in European football stadiums.
